Wall dances on ice
Tonight
model, Jake Wall, won Channel's Nine's popular television reality
competition, Torvill & Dean's Dancing on Ice. The series pitted
celebrities (who began with little or no skating experience) against
each other, culminating in a showdown where the final two teams
skated to the British couple's famous Bolero.
Wall and the other finalist, Today host, Karl Stefanovic, both put
on a great show. Where Stefanovic excelled in fancy footwork, Wall
used spectacular spins and lifts to advantage. He even earned the
first and only perfect 6.0 from judge and respected coach, Belinda
Noonan.

Less than one point separated Tina Wang from making the free skating
final.
Unlike the senior world championship, junior skaters don't have
the advantage of their qualifying round scores carrying over into

Zukowski of the United States was third.
