top ten in Four Continents

Joanne
Carter and Miriam Manzano have finished in tenth and 11th
place in the Four Continents competition in Hamilton,
Ontario. Carter
placed tenth in the free program to slip from her ninth
placing after the short program while Manzano improved
a place from her 12th after the short program.
Japanese
skater Yukina Oto won the ladies from Cynthia Phaneuf
of Canada and Amber Corwin of the United States.
Australia’s
National Champions in ice dancing, Natalie Buck and Trent
Nelson Bond, finished at the rear of the field in 12th
place one ahead of team-mates Danika Bourne and Alexandra
Pavlov.
