seventh in NHK Trophy

Miriam
Manzano has finished in seventh place in the NHK Trophy
in Nagoya, Japan.
The
Canberra skater was in eighth place after the short program
but moved up a spot after the free program.
In
a strong performance she finished ahead of higher ranked
skaters Amber Corwin of the United States and Alisa Drei
of Finland.
World
champion Shizuka Arakawa won the event from fellow Japanese
skater Miki Ando, the 2004 world junior champion. Elena
Sokolova of Russia was third.
