Manzano third & seventh in Europe

Australian figure skater Miriam Manzano placed third in the Finlandia Trophy in Helskinki in early October. Finnish skater Susanna Poykio won the event from team-mate Alisa Drei.

A week later, the Canberra-based skater placed eighth in the short program and fifth in the free program to finish seventh overall in the Karl Schaeffer Memorial Event in Vienna, Austria. Julie Lautowa of Austria took the ladies trophy from Diana Poth of Hungary.
