wins fourth national title

Canberra
skater Miriam Manzano won her fourth Australian figure
skating title at the Boondall Ice World over the weekend,
edging out former national champion and Nagano Olympian
Joanne Carter.
In
the men’s event, Bradley Santer came from third place
after the short program to claim his first title, with
the leading skater after the short program, Daniel Harries
of Queensland, in second place and Stuart Beckingham from
the ACT, in third place.
In
Ice Dancing, Natalie Buck and Trent Nelson-Bond of New
South Wales won their fourth title, defeating Western
Australian couple Danika Bourne and Alexander Pavlov.
Emilia
Ahsan won the Junior Ladies section ahead of Janna Kupec.
