Bradley
Santer is the Australian men’s figure skating champion, having
won the title for the first time at the national championships
in December 2003.
For
the previous two years, he had been runner-up to Anthony Liu for
the national crown, and in 2001 was also the Australian Junior
Champion.
Santer
represented Australia at the Four Continents competition in January,
finishing in 13th place, his best result there in five years.
He also placed 18th in the Golden Spin of Zagreb.
In
March he will represent his country at the World Championships
in Dortmund, Germany, looking to improve on the 37th placing he
has recorded in this two previous excursions to the world’s premier
competition, in 2003 and 2000.
Santer
trains in Simsbury, Connecticut, and is coached by Galina Pachin
and Galina Zmievskaia.
