ACTAS Figure Skaters win National Championships

ACTAS figure skaters Miriam Manzano and Stuart Beckingham have won their respective divisions at the Australian National Figure Skating Championships held in Perth from 20-27 August.

Manzano took out the Senior Ladies division and the win has re-opened the door for her selection in the Australian Winter Olympic team to compete in Torino, Italy next year.

Beckingham, with partner Emma Brien, claimed the Senior Pairs category. Beckingham and Brien have been selected for the Olympic Qualifying competition in October to be held in Austria and the 4 Continents event in Colorado Springs (USA) in January.
