Debi to be a part of WOGO

Debi is taking a trip to Nepal in September to work with an organization called WOGO (Womens Orthopaedic Global Outreach), which is the daughter of the parent organization "Operation Walk.")

WOGO and Operation Walk have missions with the aim to provide free total joint replacements to patients with no access to this type of restorative care.

The WOGO physicians are all female fellowship-trained adult reconstruction specialists, and their mission will be to focus on challengesfor Nepalese women with knee arthritis.

Approximately 71 total knee replacements in 30 patientswill be provided, as well as educational programs for local orthopaedic surgeons and young girls.
